Please come early and have dinner with us. Starting at 6 pm we will be selling nachos, sandwiches, popcorn, snow cones, candies and drinks. If you would like to pre-purchase Dinner for your family please complete the form below and return with payment to your child`s teacher no later than

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. This is a FAMILY event.

There will be face painting for $1.00 and My 31, Tastefully Simple and Maisy`s Daisys Hairbows will have a booth for you to shop.

Bring your PTO membership card and get one free snow cone.

We Need a Secretary

Please help spread the word. The PTO needs a New Secretary.

The secretary shall keep all records of the organization, take and record minutes, prepare the agenda, handle correspondence, assist the president in maintaining and entering the email list, prepare flyers and send notices of meeting to the president to be placed on the website. The secretary also keeps a copy of the minutes book, bylaws, rules, membership list, and any other necessary supplies, and brings them to meetings. The secretary must have the agenda to the president no less then four days before the monthly meeting and send the meeting minutes to the president no later then two days after the meeting.

Dues for the 2009-2010 School year are 10.00 per person.  Membership entitles you to have voting rights and 1.00 off admission to any PTO family event.  Membership must be paid 14 days prior to voting.

Sales start October 20th and end November 3rd.  Cookie Dough will be delivered
December 10th.  PTO makes 40% of the total sales.  The two classes with the most sold will receive a sno-cone party.

Sahuarita Night at Chase Field

September 11, 2009 Arizonia Diamondbacks VS Milwaukee Brewers 6:40PM National Anthem performed by the Award Winnng Sahuarita High School Band. Tickets Available at all school sites $12.00, $25.00, $27.00 Proceeds Benefit the Sahuarita Students Through Programs and Scholarships.


COMMUNITY FORUM

picture-5The Community Forum will take place on Wednesday, August 1 9 . 2 0 0 9  at  6 : 3 0 p .m. in Pod B of the SUSD District
Auditorium. Purpous of the Forum is to present information to the community on the Override Election and on the Bond Election.

Schwan’s PTO fundraiser

Schwan’s will have their trucks out at the school on the 13th and 18th from 4-7pm. They have a variety of frozen dinners, ice cream and so much more. The PTO will receive a percentage of sales.  Gift certificates may be purchased by calling 1-888-413-0003. Mention they are towards the Anza Trail Pto fundraiser when purchasing and they will be delivered to your house.


Movies Under the Stars: Public Events

Our “Movies Under the Stars” season continues throughout the summer with “High School Musical 3″. Movies are free and open to the public.  The evenings include FREE popcorn compliments of our home builders.   The event area opens at 7 pm with the movie beginning at 8 pm.  Grab your lawn chairs and blankets for a night of family fun.

Anza Trail PTO would like to welcome you all to the 2009-2010 school year.

The PTO’s main focus is to assist parents, teachers, staff and students in anyway possible.  From volunteering to organizing wonderful family events, we strive to find many ways to support the school and families here at Anza Trail.  We are always looking for fresh ideas and parent involvement.  We are a team and it takes the whole team to make our school the great place that it is.  The PTO still has board and committee positions available.  Let us know if you would like more information on joining the board or committees.  Membership dues are 10.00 per year, which entitles you to 1.00 off admission to all PTO functions and voting rights.  Membership dues must be paid 14 days prior to voting.  We hope to see you all at our upcoming meetings and events.
